Dr. Jeff DeMercy and Dr. Amanda Kossick perform dental exams regularly to identify any problems that are present in your oral cavity. The exam will include our dentists taking X-rays of your mouth and closely examining each tooth. If they can detect problems with their naked eye, they will come up with a plan to help you eliminate the issue. If they cannot see the problems by examining the mouth, the X-rays will allow them to take a deeper look into your teeth and bones, identifying the problems you have.
We suggest coming to DeMercy Dental regularly, usually every six months to see our dentists; however, we customize your dental frequency according to both your dental and health needs. These cleanings will be performed by a dental hygienist. They will do so by removing any plaque or tartar on the teeth, polishing and also flossing between your teeth. Fluoride treatments will be recommended on a diagnosed basis.
