Our Dental Implant Process
The process of receiving a dental implant might take a little bit of time to complete, but by the time it is finished you will feel beautiful and confident again! The treatment begins with our dentists and team sitting down with you and making an individualized plan for your success. Next, your tooth root implant will be placed into the bone socket of the missing tooth. The jawbone will need to heal around the implant, which could take anywhere from six to 12 weeks. This will anchor the implant securely into the jaw. Next, a small connector post will be attached to the root implant. This will hold the new tooth. Our dentists will then create your tooth by making impressions of your tooth and sending them to a lab to be custom made for you. After the tooth is created, it will be attached to the connector post.
